What do Morgan School and Church, Benzie Area Christian Neighbors, and the Congregational and Christian Assemblies have in common? Rev. Dinah Haag will present the findings of a search into “The History of Church in Benzie County”, Thursday, April 9th, at 4:00 p.m. in the upper level of the Mills Community House.

Rev. Dinah Haag is a self-described Michigander with Minnesota genetics. Having sung in church choirs from the age of 8 or 9, gone on to direct church choirs while teaching public school music, attended seminary, and worked as a church secretary and youth pastor, it seems that churches have played a large part in her life. Perusing the Museum’s online photo catalog and discovering the Morgan School and Church photo led to the question of its location, and then to other churches in this little corner of Mayberry. She’s quite glad to share her findings with anyone interested.
