Updated Hours Notice

Please note our Museum and the Drake School are currently closed to the public out of abundance of caution.  Our work goes on!  Many of our research, genealogy, archival and collections volunteers are continuing to contribute to the texture and depth of Benzie County’s stories from the safety and comfort of their own homes.  A limited group of volunteers works at the Museum following COVID-19 safety protocols.

We look forward to safely resuming tours and giving you the opportunity to experience Benzie County’s amazing history first-hand at the Museum, Drake School and at programs throughout our community.

Visit our Facebook page for updates and history resources.
