The Benzie Area Historical Society presents “Night At The Museum” Fundraising Event! Join us on Wednesday, August 5th, at 7 pm, at the Benzie Area Historical Museum & Research Center, 6941 Traverse Ave, Benzonia, MI 49616, for an evening of history, community, and fundraising with a silent auction.
Silent auction items include a golf outing for four at Crystal Mountain, a historical boat tour of Platte Lake, a tour of Iron Fish Distilery for up to six people, and many more items! Treats and beverages will be available. Plus, we will have a visitor who traveled a great distance from the 1780s to speak with us about President George Washington. Dr. James Craig, George Washington’s personal physician and friend, will be joining us. Dr. James Craig will be portrayed by historical presenter and storyteller R.W. Lowe. $25 per person.
