We hope you enjoy hearing some of the stories we have dug up about the noble deeds of Frankfort Rotarians over the last 100 years.

Presenters: Jay Peregrine & Tim Foster

Born and raised in Oak Park, Illinois, Jay is a third-generation Crystal Laker who is now retired and living full-time in Frankfort. After college (Duke University), he settled in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he enjoyed a career in I.T. and business administration. Later, he returned to Chicago to help manage a not-for-profit.  An amateur history buff and avid storyteller, Jay’s involvement with Frankfort Rotary Club ( including President of the Club in 2021-2022) and his love of storytelling led him to offer to present a history of the club on its 100th anniversary in 2024

A native of Evanston, IL., Tim Foster now resides in Frankfort. He has a lifelong interest in the Great Lakes. He is on the board of the S.S. City of Milwaukee National Historic Landmark in Manistee and the Benzie Area Historical Museum. He enjoys building scale models and spending time outdoors.
