Follow the route of the Ann Arbor Railroad (1895-1972) including the site of the 1929 train wreck east of Pomona, the “Ping-Pong” – a summer tourist train traveling from Frankfort to Beulah, and the Diamond in Thompsonville where 3 railroad lines including the Ann Arbor intersected.  Also included is an overview of the Ann Arbor ferries which shuttled railroad cars from Frankfort to Manitowoc and back.  Originally a companion guide for our 2014 Ann Arbor Railroad Tour offered by local historian, Roger Griner.
