Class is back in session this summer at The Drake School Museum, the Benzie Area Historical Society’s one-room schoolhouse.
Restored to an early 1900 time period, the Drake School Museum will be open to guests on Saturdays and Sundays in July and August, 1:00-4:00 p.m.
While you’re there, be sure to check out the new agriculture exhibit located just behind the school. The exhibit tells the story of the children and their farming families who attended The Drake School.
The Drake School campus is located at the corner of Valley and Fowler Roads, west of Honor.
