Former pilot Charles Mange shares the history of this much-missed club as well as the information and “skills training” specific to its members. The conclusion of the presentation includes a simulated “difficult badge” flight narrated the presenter. This lecture was presented at The Mills Community House in May 2022, and is now available to view online.
Charles Mange, Ph.D. attended Western Michigan University for his undergraduate degree and went on to earn both master’s and doctorate degrees from Penn State University. He taught at Syracuse University, served as director of special education and deputy superintendent for the Kalamazoo Intermediate School District. He retired as emeritus professor from Michigan State University, and now resides in Frankfort, Michigan.
